Review of the Album Voittomme

This black metal band formed in 2003 consists of Mikko "Goat Tormentor" Kotamäki on vocals, drums and strings.

He is partnered with Atvar on strings and vocals.

Verivala means Blood Oath in English. The duo have released an EP, a full length album and a Split CD with Vulva Infernum in the year 2004. In 2006 another Split CD with The Shadow Order.

The Split with Vulva Infernum was named Scars and Worhip and was described as, "Side A features the Finnish VERIVALA with the song "Arpeni Kannan Ikuisesti". VERIVALA offer raw and grim Black Metal which is played between mid-/fast speed and provided by a cold and nordic sound. The hymn offer raw sounding riffs which spread also from time to time a quite melancholic atmosphere. Furthermore the song shows a excellent rhythm feeling and get accompanied by grim and hateful spit out vocals."
