Leipzig… The Last Day of the tour and at least, my last gig in 2009…
The way to Germany was pretty hard… I was tired after two hours of sleep and the weather was damn fucked-up that day… It was freezing like in the gloomy Finland and snowing a lot too.
I felt like shit and in Prag I almost decided to catch some train and go back home! But after all, I didn’t… I was looking forward to see the guys again after two days so much, that I just couldn’t return back home in half of the road!
I had to exchange one trait and three buses to get in Pilsen… and then several hours by car from Pilsen to Leipzig… How poor, the road took all the day. So we just drank some beers and a bottle of Becherovka in the car, to get drunk and have more fun… then we finally arrived to Leipzig. After some searching, we found the Conne Island club and met Juha from StS at the same time.
My friends went to another gig in Leipzig (Arch Enemy and Destruction, for which I had a guest pass, but unfortunately could’n come over there), while Juha took me to the sound check.
Matti was singing on the sound check, so it was fun. Later he tried to shave his face, so we could made fun of him
We just killed the time before the show… some sitting in the backstage, drinking beer and stuff like that… We were also looking at the pictures from Aleksi’s birthday in Prag *no comments*
The guys had a lot of fun on the stage and made some jokes, as this was the last show of the tour…
While Omnium Gatherum play the last song, the guys start to unpack the drum kit. Poor drummer.
Next on the stage: Insomnium. Markus from Omnium Gather plays a solo during The Killjoy and later Mikko sings something in Finnish through the talkback mic.
Swallow the Sun on the stage. The fun goes on… Mikko has a really giant dildo on his mic during the show Niilo from Insomnium has some guest vocals on Don’t Fall Asleep and the guys repeat the joke and unpack Kai’s drum kit during the show. Later, everyone just end up headbanging on the stage… poor crowd

The time went too fast and the show was over… About 2 hours in the morning my friends finally came from the Arch Enemy gig with their car… the time to leave came.
STS, Insomnium and Omnium Gatherum guys went to the airport by their tourbus and I went to buy another bottle of vodka with my friends to get even more drunk on the looooong way home.
I came back home next day in the afternoon… pretty tired, but really happy and with nice memories in my head
